Looking for a role where you can work on projects that genuinely make a difference?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor / Project Cost Consultant to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy delivering a wide range of public sector projects across Cornwall.
Working within an established team, you'll be involved in projects from feasibility through to completion across sectors including housing, education, regeneration and infrastructure.
The Role
You'll be responsible for:
* Preparing cost plans, estimates and tender documentation
* Managing project costs throughout the full project lifecycle
* Producing valuations, cost reports and final accounts
* Providing commercial advice to clients
* Working alongside multidisciplinary project teams
* Identifying project risks and opportunities
* Mentoring junior members of the team
About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
* Consultancy or client-side Quantity Surveying experience
* Experience delivering construction projects from inception through to completion
* Strong commercial and cost management skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* MRICS (or working towards)
* Experience across public sector, residential or infrastructure projects would be advantageous
