Client Overview: My client, a leading regional engineering contractor in Manchester, has been delivering top-tier civil engineering projects for 15 years. Specialising in groundworks and roadways, they manage projects up to £20 million, consistently exceeding client expectations and building strong industry relationships.
Quantity Surveyor - What you will be doing:
Pre-Construction Meetings: Attend and provide valuable input to align project goals.
Invoicing and Payments: Manage external applications for payment and ensure timely client reconciliations.
Variation Pricing: Handle pricing for design changes and project variations.
Final Accounts: Complete and close out project accounts efficiently.
Cost Valuations: Conduct quarterly internal cost valuations and CTC assessments.
Costing Systems: Develop and optimise the internal costing system using Eque2 software. Quantity Surveyor - Key Accountabilities:
Accurate Invoicing: Ensure all invoicing and payment reconciliations are precise.
Effective Pricing Management: Manage project variations and design changes efficiently.
Final Account Management: Oversee comprehensive final account completion.
Quarterly Assessments: Perform detailed cost valuations quarterly.
System Development: Enhance the internal costing software for better efficiency.
