Description:
Our client is currently recruiting for Quantity Surveyors to work on exciting projects in Central London. As a leading Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation contractor with projects across Ireland, Mainland Europe, the Nordics, and the UK, our client is involved in various sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Healthcare, Education, Commercial, and Power Generation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Be a team player and show a willingness to learn all aspects of mechanical and electrical systems, and general construction aspects.
* Take ownership and responsibility for defined scope of work.
* Produce fully priced detailed bills of quantities including labor hours and material costs.
* Track costs, labor, and project hours spent versus earned schedule.
* Prepare construction cost plans, track costs and labor efficiency throughout the project.
* Present take offs in a clear format and understand NRM2 requirements.
* Provide timely and accurate CCS submissions each month.
* Prepare valuation and certification agreements each month.
* Manage subcontract packages from procurement to final account.
* Strive to get a comprehensive understanding of tasks assigned and actively seek development opportunities.
Experience & Qualifications:
* 4+ years’ experience in a similar role.
* Experience in a Commercial role would be beneficial.
* Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
