Description:
Our client, a leading company in the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and successful organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance projects
Prepare and analyze contractor and supplier quotations
Assist in the preparation of tender documents
Evaluate and negotiate variations, claims, and disputes
Provide advice on contractual matters
Monitor project progress and collaborate with the project team
Review and assess completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
Manage and maintain accurate financial records
Job Requirements:
Significant experience in Quantity Surveying
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Proficient in relevant software applications
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field
Highways Experience
This position is based in Bath, with the option for hybrid working. The contract duration is 8-12 months. Our client offers a daily rate of £500.
