Location: Vauxhall, London (Project Site: Deptford)
Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 + Travel + Bonus + Package

Project Quantity Surveyor - London
A forward-thinking residential developer is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to take full commercial ownership of a major new build housing project in Deptford, London. This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role for an experienced QS looking to manage all aspects of a project’s commercial delivery.
You will be based in the Vauxhall office with regular site visits to Deptford and work closely with the Commercial Director, gaining mentorship and strategic insight while helping to shape the commercial team.

The Role
As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the full commercial management of the project, ensuring tight financial control and successful delivery.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Managing procurement, valuations, variations, and cost reporting
• Preparing, issuing, and analysing tender documentation for subcontract packages
• Monitoring project budgets, forecasts, and payment schedules to protect margins
• Attending commercial and design coordination meetings, representing the project financially
• Liaising with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
• Supporting the Commercial Director in developing and implementing robust commercial processes

What They Are Looking For
• 5+ years’ experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally in residential or main contracting projects
• Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Commercially aware, confident in taking ownership of projects and protecting margins
• Strong communication and reporting skills, comfortable liaising with senior stakeholders
• Motivated, proactive, and ambitious to grow into a senior commercial leadership role

Salary & Package
• £60,000 – £75,000 depending on experience
