Role Overview:

As the Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all cost-related aspects of the project from inception to completion. Your expertise will ensure that the development is completed within budget and to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You will work closely with the project team, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure financial and contractual control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for the project.

* Conduct regular cost analysis and value engineering to ensure project costs are controlled and optimized.

* Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships, including procurement, contract negotiation, and payment certification.

* Monitor and report on project progress, including financial performance and cash flow forecasting.

* Prepare and present detailed reports to the project management team and stakeholders.

* Assess and manage project risks, identifying potential cost overruns and implementing mitigation strategies.

* Ensure compliance with all contractual and legal requirements, including the preparation and submission of claims and variations.

* Collaborate with the project team to ensure that project milestones are achieved within budget and on schedule.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on large-scale residential construction projects, particularly with RC frame structures.

* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.

* Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

* Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and tools.

* Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.

* Membership of a recognized professional body (e.g., RICS) is desirable.
