Quantity Surveyor - Canterbury, Kent
Planned Maintenance & Reactive Maintenance - Social Housing
£55,000 - £60,000 + Package
Our client, a growing principle contractor based in Kent, are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing property services team.
As a business, they currently deliver day to day fire safety, planned maintenance and construction projects across the UK. This role is to join the commercial department for the property services division. My client are ideally looking for someone with 5+ years experience as a Quantity Surveyor, however they would consider an experienced quantity surveyor that is looking for a step up.
Day to day responsibilities will include;
Cost planning
Ensure projects are being delivered to budget
Reconcile cost/value reports & profit forecasts
Working off the NHF Schedule of rates
On boarding new suppliers & sub-contractors
Approve sub-contractor & supplier payments
Attending progress meetings with clients
Regular on site visits
Cash flow management
