INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:

Role – Quantity Surveyor

Location – Belfast

Salary – Competitive Plus Package

About the Company:

Our client here at INFORM3 who is one of the leading providers of architectural facade glazing systems within the UK construction industry have a requirement for a Quantity Surveyor to join their experienced team.

You would report to the Commercial Director and have the support of a team of Quantity Surveyor’s and Commercial Teams in Belfast and the UK.

The successful candidate will be based in the office but their may be site visits required but will be very minimal.

Key Responsibilities:

* Preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders and contracts.

* Ensure sub-contractors are pre-qualified in accordance with management systems.

* Procurement of sub-contractors and preparation of sub-contractor order documentation.

* Assessing and certification of sub-contractor interim payments.

* Preparation of Interim valuations and final account.

* Managing and valuing variations.

* Production of monthly Cost Value Reconciliation on contracts.

* Establish, maintain and enhance effective working relationships.

* Plan, allocate and evaluate work carried out by teams, individuals and yourself.

Specification:

* Third level qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction management.

* 5-6+ years’ experience with a Main Contractor in the Building Sector in NI or ROI.

* Proficient in Microsoft excel and project.

* Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

* Demonstrates commercial awareness – market, competition, value for money.

* Clean Driver’s License.
