Quantity Surveyor
Plymouth
£50,000-£60,000 & Package
Sphere Solutions are working with a Tier 1 Contractor to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor, working on a local landmark schemes in Plymouth and the surrounding areas.
The day to day….
* Sub-contractor procurement
* Commercial responsibility for more than one sites at any one time
* Valuations, variations and final accounts
* Reporting on financial performance, including forecasting, profit / loss, cash flow, etc.
* Contract compliance
* Sitting in on meetings and liaising with the client, subcontracts and supply chain
* Update and advise on all commercial information to the wider team
What we need from you…..
* Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with a large regional contractor or Tier 1
* You will ideally have a HND or Degree in a construction related discipline.
* Strong cost management and negotiation skills.
* Ability to produce accurate valuations and reports
