Description:
We are recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor delivering industrial, warehouse, retail and leisure projects across the North West.
This is an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor who is confident taking commercial responsibility for their own projects, with support and guidance from an experienced Commercial Manager.
The Role
* Take commercial responsibility for your own projects.
* Manage projects from pre-construction through to final account.
* Prepare and manage valuations, variations, payments and cost reports.
* Manage subcontractor accounts and commercial relationships.
* Monitor project costs and commercial performance.
* Work closely with the Site and Project Management teams.
* Report regularly to the Commercial Manager.
* Support the successful commercial delivery of projects.
About You
* Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor.
* Comfortable managing your own projects commercially.
* Strong understanding of subcontractor management, valuations, variations and final accounts.
* Good commercial awareness and attention to detail.
* Confident communicating with clients, subcontractors and project teams.
* Experience across industrial, warehouse, retail, leisure or similar commercial projects would be advantageous.
