Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering Projects

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading engineering and construction contractor, supporting a strong pipeline of civil engineering projects across the region.

This role will be based out of the Southampton Head Office, working closely with the Commercial Manager and wider project teams to manage the commercial function across multiple schemes, using NEC forms of contract.

Subcontractor procurement

CVR’s

*

Early warnings

*

Updating risk registers

*

Monthly commercial reporting

*

Cash flow forecasts

*

Subcontractor payments

Dispute resolution

*

Final accounts

Requirements

To be considered, you will need:

*

HNC/HND/BSc in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management (or equivalent experience) (essential)

*

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor (essential)

*

Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts

*

A proactive, organised approach with strong commercial awareness
