Description:
Our client currently requires commercial support on delivering a construction project. To be suitable for this role you will have to be able to demonstrate experience of working in a large principal contractor environment. The contract will run for approximately 12 months.
Responsibilities:
* Conducting detailed cost analysis and risk assessments for construction subcontract packages.
* Contract Administration
* Managing and negotiating contracts efficiently
* Raising application for payments
* Collaborating closely with project manager to ensure cost-effectiveness
* Commercial forecasting, CVR’s,
* Project Status Reports
Candidate requirements:
* Be a confident and reliable Quantity Surveyor who can "own" the commercial function of the project
* To be based on site
* Extensive experience in a construction experience including MEP
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or Equivalent
* Possess strong numeracy and report writing skills
* Experience working for large principal construction and civil engineering contractors
