Chris Main Ltd is an independent recruiter. I specialise in the house building sector and have over 20 years of experience recruiting people at all levels across the UK.
My client is a large developer who have a network of offices. They typically will build 500 units per year from this office and tend to build houses more than flatted developments. The region has 3 significantly large housing projects which will sustain the office for the future 10 years.
The Commercial Director is searching for a Quantity Surveyor to manage the subcontract procurement for new housing developments, work as part of the Commercial team and where necessary value engineer and make sure you are protecting the commercial viability of projects.
It is preferred that you have worked for a housing developer or have proven experience with a Build Construction company. You will have a strong knowledge of construction and if you have worked for a developer you will feel comfortable managing 2 projects, whilst reporting to a Commercial Manager.
The role will include a competitive salary, company car or allowance, healthcare, life cover, 25 days hols and a generous bonus which do get paid.
