Description:

Rhino Recruitment is proud to be recruiting for a permanent Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a successful main contractor based in Newport.

Their projects include roofing, shop fit outs, maintenance, general builds and M&E.

Key Responsibilities
Preparing cost estimates and tender submissions
Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project requirements
Pricing works and preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations
Assisting with procurement and commercial management of projects
Monitoring costs and supporting financial reporting through the project lifecycle
Requirements
Background in Quantity Surveying / Estimating within construction
Strong understanding of tendering and cost management
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Good communication and organisational skills
Relevant qualification (or equivalent experience) preferred

Salary range: £35-45k
