Description:

We are currently working on an interim Quantity Surveyor role with a Council in Scotland. This role involves predominantly working on commercial work with the likes of schools and educational properties to manage the assets which is around £6-7 million per year.

This will deal with the likes of windows, doors, roofs, walls etc. You will be managing a team of QS Assistants. The role will be dealing in all aspects managing the assets including cost estimating, financial management of assets, procurement, tendering, payments, scoping reports etc.

This is a hybrid role with more presence expected in the summer months as this is when schools will be on holiday. There is a monthly progress meeting which you will need to attend. For the right person they are happy to look at a working model that suits. Would be good if you have worked with JCT or NEC and have Scottish contract knowledge.

This would be on an initial 6 month contract and can do outside IR35 for the right candidate
