A well-established and highly respected construction and property consultancy is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team. Known for delivering expert cost management and advisory services across a diverse range of sectors, the business offers excellent career development opportunities and exposure to high-profile projects throughout the UK.
Your new role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will support the successful delivery of a varied portfolio of projects from feasibility stage through to completion. You will work closely with clients, contractors and project teams, providing professional cost management services and ensuring projects are delivered within budget.
Projects include:
Residential developments
Commercial office fit-outs and new-build schemes
Healthcare facilities
Educational establishments
Industrial and logistics developments
Leisure and hospitality projects
Mixed-use regeneration schemes
Key responsibilities will include:
Cost planning and budgeting
Procurement and tender management
Contract administration
Valuations and cost reporting
Change management and risk assessment
Final account negotiations
Stakeholder and client liaison
What you'll need to succeed
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
Experience within a consultancy or construction environment
Strong understanding of cost management and procurement processes
Knowledge of standard forms of construction contracts
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
MRICS qualified or working towards chartership is desirable
