Our client is a specialist manufacturing company. Due to growth, they are now looking to recruit a Quality Technician.

The Role

* To provide support to the Senior Quality Technician and day to day responsible for the Quality Control tests on the raw material substances and mixed products, environmental and water monitoring program for the site.

* Perform routine environmental monitoring at production site.

* Organisation of environmental monitoring schedule in conjunction with production schedule.

* Carry out sampling of water from the site purified water system.

* Handle samples in conjunction with documented procedures to prevent cross contamination.

* Maintain accurate and systematic records in accordance with documented procedures.

* Ensure all monitoring equipment is operated as per procedures.

* Work with the production team to drive site forward through continuous improvement.

* Routine testing of liquid products according to approved specifications and procedures.

* Reporting and investigating deviations and out of specification results, helping to identify and implement corrective actions to resolve problems and prevent recurrences.

* Ensuring all records are completed according to GMP guidelines and the approved procedures.

* Perform all duties in accordance with the principles of pharmaceutical GMP and safe working practices.

* Ordering of QC reagent chemicals for testing requirements.

* Will be working 2 shifts 7-3 and 3-11.

The Person

* Will have experience in a similar role withing manufacturing.

* You must have a keen interest in science.

* Good communication and organisation skills.

* Computer literature with good word and excel skills.

* Ability to solve problems and prioritise workload.

* Good attention to detail.

* Will be happy to work 2 shifts
