We are currently seeking a meticulous Quality Technician to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Offering the opportunity for the outstanding candidate to earn a permanent contract subject to satisfactory performance over 12 weeks. In addition to continuous professional development:

* Shifts: 4 On/4Off - Consisting of 2 Days 06:00-18:00 & 2 Nights 18:00-06:00.

* Pay: £12.4 Per Hour with 1 hour paid break. Overtime paid at 1.5 (Sunday & Bank Holidays)

Responsibilities Include:

* Carry out internal Quality audits of the quality systems including product, 5’s, hygiene, glass and Insects audits

* Supervise quality records and retained samples

* Organize materials in quarantine, maintain records, and notify relevant personnel

* Control of positive release

* Carry out material analysis for product development and corrective action investigations

* Perform product inspection / testing for; - Materials in Quarantine - New materials / development - Others as directed And report results to Quality and Technical Manager

* Input non – conforming material information on to the computer for reporting purposes QA Administration work as assigned

* Other projects as assigned including WCM General weekend, sickness absence and holiday cover as and when required

* Assist in all Quality Areas Cross – Functional

* Any other tasks commensurate with the role Health, Safety and Environmental Responsibilities: All employees have a responsibility to co-operate and maintain the EMS. This responsibility includes the following:

* Ensure that you understand and adhere to your personal responsibilities with regard the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 or Health and Safety at Work (Northern Ireland) Order SI 1978/1039:

* Take reasonable care for your own and other’s health and safety while at work; cooperate with your employer on health and safety matters; o Compliance with relevant environmental procedures and rules;

* Ensuring that waste is maintained at an absolute minimum, and disposed of into the correct bins;

* Ensure that substances that may pose a threat to the environment are used with care and in accordance with the instructions and training delivered;

* Make the most efficient and effective use of all resources;

* Advise the Company of any shortfalls or oversights in its environmental arrangements;

* Be pro-active in conserving energy i.e., switching machinery off when not in use;This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to contribute to maintaining high-quality standards.
