Quality Technician
Location - Reading
Working Hours - 2:30pm - 11:00pm
Salary - £33,000 - £36,000
Are you an experienced Quality Technician with a background in manufacturing? We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support quality standards across a production environment.
As a Quality Technician, you will provide frontline quality support, helping to ensure manufacturing processes are followed correctly while identifying and assisting with the resolution of non-conforming materials and process issues.
Key Responsibilities of the Quality Technician
Conduct product and process audits in line with audit schedules.
Perform quality control and production line audits to assess product conformity.
Support training and induction activities to improve quality awareness.
Communicate quality, product, and safety-related information effectively across the business.
Build strong working relationships with production, engineering, quality, and supervisory teams.
Manage and control non-conforming materials, including associated documentation and reporting.
Assist with quality reporting, gauge instructions, capability studies, and Gauge R&R activities.About You
Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent.
Previous manufacturing and quality experience is essential.
Degree or HND in a technical discipline is advantageous.
Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
Comfortable presenting information and responding to queries.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
