Quality Technician
Newton Aycliffe
Temporary to Permanent
Rate £12-14ph depending on quality experience.
Day shift 07.30 – 16.00 Monday to Friday
We are recruiting an experienced Quality Technician on a temporary to permanent basis for a manufacturing company with a facility in Newton Aycliffe.
The company is looking for someone who wants to advance to a Quality Engineer position and be involved in supplier training and audits.
The role will involve:
* Goods in and out inspections
* Use of digital measurement tools
* Daily roving product inspections
* Liaise with suppliers on non-conformance resolution
* Use of Quality tools & Techniques
* Assist in the upkeep of the QMS
* Assist in the monitoring of the calibration system
Experience required for the role:
* An understanding of ISO9001:2015
* Experienced with MS office and all-round good IT skills
* Must be outgoing with good communication skills
* Willing to complete QA further training
* Keen to progress within the role
* Internal auditing desired
* FLT counterbalance desired
