Description:
BIG ANT Group have a Quality Technician vacancy available in the area of Plympton. We are looking for an applicant with experience in this line of work to join the Quality / Metrology team.
Primarily, this will be inspecting Aerospace products, but will also be assessing the quality of other product sectors.
Applicants MUST:
> Have an understanding of AS9100 (the company is accredited)
> Have QA & Engineering experience
> Have CMM experience
> Read and Understand engineering drawings
> Understand how to compile inspection reports
> Have used Metrology equipment
> Be computer literate and have a basic understanding of the Main Microsoft Softwares; Word / Excel / Outlook.
Working hours: Alternating shifts weekly, a week of early shifts, then a week of late shifts (07:00-15:30 Mon-Thur. & 07:00-13:00 Fri then 15:30-01:30 Monday to Thursday only). You will receive an enhancement of 25% for hours worked across the late shift.
Hourly rate: £13.50 - £16.50 p/hr (DoE)
