QUALITY & TECHNICAL COMPLIANCE CO-ORDINATOR

Opportunity to join a dynamic food manufacturing business in the role of Quality & Technical Compliance Coordinator!

We are delighted to be partnering with an industry-leading food manufacturer known for innovation, a solid reputation, and employee-centric values. They now require a Quality & Technical Compliance Coordinator to support the Site Technical Manager in delivering the site Quality Assurance Program for products, warehouse & distribution, and raw materials.

The role would suit candidates with relevant experience in food manufacturing, ideally quality assurance and technical compliance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Quality Assurance Audit Program:

Oversee all internal and external audits (Quality, Food Safety, GMP, Ethical Certifications, Customer)

Create and manage the site audit calendar

Support internal audits per BRC requirements

Log and address non-conformances

Collaborate to resolve audit findings with sustainable solutions

Report insights in monthly and quarterly meetings

Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities

Support external and customer audits

Quality and Food Safety Monitoring Program:

Execute site monitoring activities (agrochemical and environmental monitoring)

Design programs, ensure compliance, coordinate sample testing

Manage external laboratory analyses

Review and report results for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports

Identify and implement improvement opportunities

Act as Pest Control Contract contact, communicate findings, drive improvements

Grow Technical Credibility:

Champion auditing practices, support auditor training

Advocate for Quality and Food Safety through leadership

Use non-conformance program for business improvement

Collaborate to enhance site technical knowledge and capability

Support Technical team members and cover absences

PERSON REQUIREMENTS:

* Degree in a science-related field would be advantageous but not essential

* HACCP Level 3

* Knowledge of BRC standards

* Familiar with customer standards and sustainability/religious standards

* Regulatory and legal awareness of food safety legislation

* Experience in the Food & Beverage industry

* Experience in Quality and Food Safety Systems Management

* Ability to analyse information, basic statistics knowledge

* Proficient in MS Office

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

* Able to conduct staff training

* Strong decision-making skills
