Job purpose
To support the Food Safety and Quality systems across company sites
Duties and Responsibilities
* To ensure the HACCP/Quality Systems are correctly implemented, monitored, and controlled
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, managing external agencies and ensuring product safety and security
* Ensuring all audits are carried out to the required standard e.g.,Group Supplier Audit or accreditation standard and audit preparation
* Generating and issuing required reports
* Day to day management of the quality management system
* To ensure compliance to relevant legislation, GMP and hygiene standards
* To ensure internal and external audits are carried out in a timely manner
* Ensure raw material, process control and finished product specifications are up to date in conjunction with the group quality team
The Candidate:
* Knowledge of HACCP, food safety and food hygiene
* Previous experience with a quality environment and running both internal and external audits
* Previous experience in a production environment
* Experience of dealing with suppliers and customers, generating, agreeing, and implementing specifications
* Experience managing a team
