Description:
Job Purpose:
As Quality Systems Co-ordinator, you are responsible for analysing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organisational objectives.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, identify and implement corrective and preventive actions, and lead the internal audit process and drive continuous improvement initiatives based on the findings.
You will also be responsible for change management (ECO and concessions) and associated material management within the business.
Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain new elements within a robust Quality Management System
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies
Develop and document quality procedures, processes, and work instructions
Process Analysis and Improvement:
Lead internal audit team and conduct regular audits and assessments to identify process inefficiencies and areas for improvement
Analyse data to identify trends and opportunities for enhancing quality and efficiency
Recommend and implement process improvements to optimise workflows
Control product change management activities within the business
Regulatory Compliance:
Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards related to quality management
Ensure that the organisation remains compliant with relevant regulatory requirements
Prepare and maintain documentation for regulatory submissions (where applicable)
Training and Development:
Develop and deliver training (where required) to ensure that employees are aware of quality standards, processes, and procedures
Provide guidance and support to employees on quality-related matters
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collect, analyse, and interpret data related to quality metrics
Prepare and circulate reports and presentations, summarising quality KPIs
Communicate findings to management and recommend actions for improvement
Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA):
Lead analysis and investigations into customer and end-user quality complaints and issues
Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address root cause (where applicable)
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, design & development, and consumer services
Communicate quality objectives, requirements, and performance to internal and external stakeholders (where required)
Person Profile:
Proven experience in Quality Management, preferably in a regulated industry
Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 etc and quality toolbox.
Extensive working knowledge of SAP is essential, preferably within complex article management.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail orientated with a commitment to continuous improvement
Education and/or Experience
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Industrial Engineering etc) or demonstrable experience
Relevant certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor are advantageous. Previous experience in auditing will be considered
