Quality Manager – Aerospace

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading engineering manufacturer as their Quality Manager, reporting directly to the General Manager and leading the full Quality function.
You’ll take ownership of Quality Management Systems, manage the Inspection team, and act as the company’s representative for all quality matters. If you thrive in a regulated environment and enjoy driving continuous improvement, this role offers autonomy, responsibility, and long‑term stability.
The Role

Manage, maintain and monitor the company’s Quality Management Systems.
*
Act as the business’s Management Representative for all quality matters.
*
Lead, develop and manage the Inspection team.
*
Oversee inspection and verification of parts at all stages of manufacture.
*
Maintain calibrated equipment and ensure readiness for production.
*
Create and approve FAIRs/LAIRs to customer and design authority specifications.
*
Deliver training on VisualFAIR software.
*
Plan and conduct internal and external audits to ISO 9100 and AS9100 standards.
*
Identify resource, investment and approval requirements.
*
Act as an Approved Signatory for release and inspection processes.
*
Support continuous improvement and participate in management review meetings.
About You
*
Strong experience within the aerospace sector.
*
Confident interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
*
Proven FAIR/LAIR experience.
*
Knowledge of ISO 9100, AS9100, EASA standards.
*
Qualified to conduct internal/external audits.
*
Strong initiative, time management and attention to detail.
*
Able to lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team.
*
Collaborative, proactive and committed to supporting business goals.
