Quality Manager

Salary circa £55,000 | Bonus Scheme | Flexible Working Hours | Midday Finish Fridays

A Quality Manager opportunity has arisen within a well-established precision manufacturing business supplying complex components into highly regulated engineering sectors. Working closely with customers and manufacturing teams, you'll lead quality activities, manage customer complaints and quality escapes, maintain the Quality Management System, and develop team members to improve quality performance.

Quality Manager responsibilities include -

Leading customer complaints and quality escapes from containment through to resolution.
Coaching and mentoring team members to improve quality standards and performance.
Maintaining and developing the QMS in line with customer and industry requirements.
Overseeing quality support for NPI, including PFMEAs, control plans, PPAPs and FAIRs.
Leading internal audits and coordinating customer and regulatory audits.
Driving reductions in non-conformance through structured problem-solving and continuous improvement.Quality Manager desirable skills and experience -

Previous Quality Manager experience, or a Quality Engineer ready to progress into management.
Experience within aerospace, automotive or precision manufacturing.
Strong customer complaint and quality escape management experience.
Knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP, AS9102 or IATF 16949 requirements.
Familiarity with FAIRs, PFMEAs, control plans and PPAPs.
Confident leading and developing others, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings.Quality Manager benefits include -
