Monday to Friday
£50,000 to £55,000 DOE + Bonus, Pension, Healthcare, Life Assurance & Development Opportunities
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager to join a market-leading manufacturer producing highly engineered products. You'll lead the site quality function, drive a culture of continuous improvement, and play a key role in reducing defects, improving customer satisfaction, and delivering operational excellence.
Role Description
Lead and develop the site quality team
Drive a Zero Defect culture through continuous improvement initiatives
Lead root cause investigations using 8D, 5 Why and other problem-solving methodologies
Manage CAPA, NCR and customer complaint processes
Reduce defects, scrap, rework and Cost of Poor Quality
Analyse quality performance data and identify improvement opportunities
Lead internal, customer and certification audits
Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering and Supply Chain teams
Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and customer requirements
Support business transformation and operational improvement projectsSkills and Qualifications
Proven quality leadership experience within manufacturing
Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and auditing
Experience driving quality improvement and change management initiatives
Advanced root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent engineering, manufacturing or quality backgroundCompany Information
