Adecco Bournemouth is looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join our client who is a leader in a Precision Engineering/Aerospace sector.
Job Title: Quality Manager
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
Sector: Aerospace
Location: Ferndown
Full Time: Monday to Thursday with an early finish on Friday.
Quality Manager Requirements:
◾ Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
◾ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across all levels.
◾ Professionalism in customer interactions.
◾ Analytical mindset for effective decision-making and problem-solving.
◾ Highly Skilled in mechanical inspection processes.
◾ Ability to mentor and train team members on process improvements.
◾ Background knowledge in an Engineering & Lean Manufacturing Business.
◾ Experience using MRP systems.
◾ Good Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.
About the role:
◾ Ensure compliance with all Company Procedures.
◾ Serve as the primary contact for all stakeholders on Quality matters.
◾ Lead the Inspection Team, offering detailed support as necessary.
◾ Collect and Report Quality KPIs to the Senior Management Team.
◾ Identify trends to support continuous improvement activities aimed at reducing the cost of poor quality and enhancing delivered quality to customers.
◾ Investigate Non-Conformance's promptly and implement strong preventative actions.
◾ Collaborate with other group company quality functions to share best practices.
◾ Develop and sustain an effective annual internal audit program.
◾ Oversee and maintain company AS9100 Certification, Customer Approvals, and Company QMS.
