You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
* Line manage the QA function within the business
* Support internal stakeholders with a significant presence on the factor floor to educate and drive improvements in GMP, food safety, quality and overall compliance to required standards, ensuring audit ready at all times
* Implement, embed and monitor systems and procedures as generated by the Technical department within the facility
* Ensure microbiological, water quality and other necessary food safety testing is conducted to meet customer requirements and support with corrective actions
* Manage taste panels, communicate results to the relevant departments and support in the drive to identify and rectify controllable quality issues
* Support with process validations and manage the calibration schedule
* Assist with customer complaints investigations
* Assist with complaints and micro reduction projects
* Support and promote a improved food safety and quality culture
What's required?
* Food manufacturing experience
* Knowledge and understanding of BRC
* Leadership experience
* Food related degree is ideal
