Here at Futures, we are delighted to be working with a well-established FMCG | Food Manufacturing business located in the Cumbria area.
Due to an increase in product demand, and a higher requirement for NPD, the business is looking to grow their technical team by appointing a Quality Manager to join their already established team.
Reporting into the Site Technical Manager, a Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring that products and services meet internal and external standards, function effectively and meet the customer's requirements.
Quality Manager Responsibilities:
Management of all the quality standards within the specific area.
Supervising the production process to ensure all products meet consistent standards.
Developing and implementing quality control tests, inspecting products at various stages and writing reports documenting issues.
Implementing and executing inspection, testing and evaluation methods to ensure products adhere closely to company standards.
Internal and External retailer audits.
Successful Quality Manager will have:
Previous experience within a Quality | Technical Management function.
Experience in leading and coaching a team.
Pro-active approach, with a drive for continuous improvements.
Working within the Food Industry is essential for this opportunity !!
