With our state of the art manufacturing facility based in Sittingbourne, we specialise in producing a wide range of premium quality mobility equipment and crafting unique customisations to satisfy the needs of any disability.

The role:

As stated above, building on that legacy of Quality as we further our strategic growth plans, and championing quality management throughout the business and not just in our manufacturing processes, crucial though they are.
Understand thoroughly our customer needs and requirements to develop effective Quality Control processes. Devise and review specifications for products or processes.
Ensure adherence to Health and Safety guidelines as well as our legal obligations but go beyond that to ensure our H&S policy, practice, and documentation remains fit for purpose as the business expands.

Those are just the starting points! In a growing business like ours, variety of work is a key element, and hopefully an attraction for you in applying! We need someone who will not just adhere to the Role remit, but will give input, continuous improvement, and innovation suggestions direct to the Board to help us on our growth trajectory.

What are we looking for in you?

A proven work track record in Quality Control/Quality Assurance, ideally in a manufacturing environment (although we take an open approach to sector background) and with the relevant Qualifications and/or Memberships and knowledge (e.g. ISO 9001 or ideally 13485) to support that experience.
You may be looking for the next step up to Manager level of responsibility in Quality, but if you are already operating at that level, so much the better.
An innovative thinker, with a proactive approach to both Quality Control, and Health and Safety, who can communicate both statutory requirements and continuous improvements fluently to all levels of work colleagues.
Attention to detail in respect of accurate documentation and record keeping, and excellent numerical ability and analysis in terms of reporting back to the Senior Management Team.
