Quality Manager
Location: Letchworth
Salary: up to £52,500 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:00 - 16:30 (early finish Fridays!)
Quality manager required with a strong background within Quality, ideally in a Sheet Metal, Welding and Manufacturing background. You will have complete trust to review processes, lead continuous improvement to reduce waste and drive efficiency.

Quality Manager - Key Responsibilities:
Redevelop the current QMS 9001, ensure the system is robust and supported with regular internal audits
Implementing Improvements to production processes that lead to overall increases in product quality
Define and develop quality procedures
Ensure documents are controlled and kept up to date
Working with production managers to identify solutions to quality issues
Use the appropriate problem-solving methodologies to identify root cause and ensure robust preventative measures are implemented
Monitor and measure performance with appropriate KPIs and lead continuous improvement projects
Focus on reducing the number of non-conformances raised along with scrap rate
Provide training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality standard
Maintain weekly and monthly status reports
Support the inspection team with their regular queries and maintain inspection and quarantine records
Quality Manager - Skills and Experience required:
Previous Quality Management experience is essential
Sheet Metal/Welding/Manufacturing background would be ideal
ISO 9001 knowledge and experience is essential
