Remit:

* This position will suit an experienced Quality Manager with proven experience in a manufacturing environment

* As Quality Manager you will play a key role in ensuring products meet and exceed customer expectations

Role:

* In the role of Quality Manager you will be responsible for organizing and leading quality inspections, managing non-conformance and overseeing supplier quality assurance

* As Quality Manager you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and improving Quality Management Systems such as IATF16949, ISO9001 and ISO14001

* Managing internal quality and supplier audits

* Liaise with external certification bodies

* Develop Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plans etc

* Manage and compile Production Part Approval Planning Process (PPAP)

* Assist in APQP Coordination

* Assist in conducting process / machine capability studies

* Liaise with customers on any Quality issues

Experience Requirements:

* Minimum of 5 years experience of quality engineering / management within manufacturing

* Good people management skills

* Auditing experience

* Knowledge of processes such as injection moulding, paint finishing and assembly work

* Experience of working to IATF16949 and ISO9001 Quality Management Systems

* Attention to detail

* Good problem-solving skills

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
