Location: Plymouth (Lodge Allowence provided)

Project Overview: KierBAM are a Joint Venture (JV) partnership between Kier and Bam Nuttall. We are currently delivering the redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site located in Plymouth

Eligibility criteria: Many positions within the project are subject to national security clearance restrictions. This means that your eligibility for certain roles may be affected by your place of birth, nationality, current or former citizenship, and any residency you hold or have held.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the quality management system (QMS).
• Set quality objectives and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Oversee audits (internal and external) and certification processes.
• Manage the quality team, including recruitment, training, and performance.
• Handle escalated quality issues and lead cross-functional problem-solving.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Report quality performance to senior management and clients.
• Lead strategic initiatives for quality improvement and risk management.

The ideal candidate will have :

• Professionally qualified Manager with at least 8 years post profession qualification or 12 years experience.
• Academic Qualifications - Civil Engineering, Quality, Construction related Qualification (HNC, BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng).
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor trained
• IOSH Managing Safely
• CSCS - White PQP/AQP
• CSCS – Managers
• Extensive knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and standards.
• Proven leadership and management experience.
• Strong strategic planning, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Expertise in audit management, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to influence at senior management and stakeholder levels.
