Quality & Compliance Lead

On-site | FMCG Manufacturing | Full-time

East, Central Scotland

About the Role

We are looking for a Quality & Compliance Lead to join our Technical team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and driving continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will play a key role in maintaining quality and compliance standards, supporting the Quality Management System and ensuring products consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Investigate quality incidents, customer complaints and product quarantines, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

* Maintain the Quality Management System and support document control processes.

* Lead quality improvement projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

* Review quality data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

* Conduct GMP, traceability and compliance audits.

* Support customer quality enquiries and technical information requests.

* Manage quality documentation, specifications and compliance records.

* Complete scheduled TACCP activities.

* Provide support and cover for senior technical team members when required.

About You - You will ideally have:

* Experience in a Quality, Compliance or Technical role within FMCG manufacturing.

* Knowledge of quality management systems, audits and compliance requirements.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

* Experience interpreting standards and implementing practical site procedures.

* HACCP, Food Hygiene or relevant quality qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
