Job Description:
As Quality Lead, you will manage certification and vendor approvals, maintain key specifications and help develop the Quality Management System. You will report to the Quality Assurance Manager and work with procurement, site teams and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
The Quality Lead will:
* Maintain quality systems and standards in line with regulatory and customer requirements.
* Review specifications for incoming materials and assess new suppliers.
* Set vendor assessment requirements and monitor supplier performance.
* Work with procurement and suppliers to resolve supply chain quality issues.
* Use quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Oversee inspections against technical codes and standards.
* Investigate defects, report root causes and ensure corrective actions are completed.
Skills & experience:
A successful Quality Lead will have:
* A relevant degree or equivalent experience.
* Experience in vendor certification and approval, ideally within energy, renewables, natural resources or construction.
* Knowledge of quality systems, technical standards and applicable regulations.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate findings to suppliers and internal teams.
* Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
A quality qualification or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification would be advantageous.
