Quality Inspector Supervisor
Barrow-In-Furness
Are you interested in joining the world's largest subsea technology & solutions provider as a Quality Inspection Supervisor? This role is working at their Barrow-In-Furness facility, which is located right next to the Lake District National Park and is home to 150 skilled Engineers, technologists and manufacturing staff members. This facility serves as a centre of excellence for Subsea Connector systems, delivering cutting edge solutions to the global energy industry.
As a Quality Inspector Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of Quality Inspectors to ensure the quality of incoming items, in-process inspection, final inspection & calibration. Reporting to the Centre Quality Manager, you will play a critical role in driving continuous improvement and maintaining high-quality standards.
What will you be doing?
Leading a team of inspectors to ensure efficient operations and drive continuous improvement
Motivating, Training & developing team members
Collaborating with Product Quality Engineer to monitor & report on Inspection backlog
Support SAP improvement initiatives
Conduct incoming items & assist other departments with quality queries
Delegate workload to members & communicate KPI's to align with team goalsWhat are we looking for?
Leadership experience in a quality assurance environment
Previous Quality Inspection experience, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives
Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
Quality Management Systems experience, ISO 9001, 14001 or 45001
