Hiring Now: Quality Inspector, Fabrication / Manufacturing, Middlesbrough
Our client is a global manufacturer and supplier of steel structures, working across a number of sectors including telecommunications.
Due to continued company success, they require a Quality Inspector to join their business on a permanent basis.

This role could be for you...
As a Quality Inspector, you'll be a integral part of the production team ensuring the quality of products are manufactured in accordance with current standards
You'll provide advice, guidance, training and support to the production team in following manufacturing procedures in accordance with BS EN 9001 quality standards
Responsibilities of a Quality Inspector:
* Conduct random Inspection of product throughout the manufacturing process checking compliance with current procedures
* Conduct End of Line inspections and reporting using documented photograph evidence
* Support client visits and Compile records of materials, consumables and certificates and prepare reports for client conformance packs.
* Understanding complicated engineering drawings to check compliance against manufacturing procedure offering support.
* Maintain records of welder qualifications and training associated with procedures
* Arrange and maintain records of measuring tools and welder set calibrations
* Carry out internal audits in accordance with the quality manual and maintain records
* Conduct inspections against engineering drawings on imported goods and galvanising quality
Ideal knowledge and experience:
* Background in welding and fabrication inspection procedures
* Ability to carry out internal audits and reporting
* Quality control mindset
* 5 years previous Quality Inspection experience
