Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Lancashire
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time, 37 hours per week over a 4-day week (Monday to Thursday) Overtime opportunities available on Fridays to Sundays at premium rates of pay.
Salary/Hour Rate: Competitive based on skills, experience, and relevant qualifications

37 hours per week over a 4-day week (Monday to Thursday) from 7:15 am to 5:00 pm. Overtime opportunities available on Fridays to Sundays at premium rates of pay.

Morson Talent have a great opportunity for a Quality Inspector to work for a reputable Aerospace company. Our client has continued to evolve and innovate within the Aerospace Industry.
We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Inspector to join our clients team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that parts and processes comply with all customers, third-party, and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with the Quality department to uphold our quality strategies and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out first-off, FAIRS, and batch inspections daily
• Ensure all non-conforming work is segregated, identified, and reported via the NCR process
• Provide reports to managers on elements that adversely affect the Quality System
• Ensure all documentation and equipment calibration is current and correct
• Conduct inspections in accordance with customer specifications
• Assist with technical disputes with other department managers and operators
• Ensure compliance with international standards ISO 9001:2008 & AS9100 and customer approvals
• Identify continuous improvement techniques to achieve department/business objectives
• Support system improvement project teams to maintain product flow and best practices

Requirements:

• Self-motivated and proactive individual
• Ability to plan and organize workload
• Key focus on Quality and continuous improvement
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems at an Inspector level (Epicor, SAP, Sage etc.)
• Ability to understand and interpret drawings correctly
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods, quality system design, and documentation
• AS EN 9100 & BSEN 9001 QMS knowledge (desirable)
• Hardness, conductivity, tensile, and electrical bond testing knowledge (desirable)
