Quality Inspector
We’re recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a well-established engineering business based in Weymouth. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards and ensuring components meet strict engineering and customer specifications.
The company is looking for a detail-focused Quality Inspector who is confident working within a manufacturing environment and enjoys being hands-on with inspection processes, quality documentation, and continuous improvement activities.

Role Overview As a Quality Inspector, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Inspecting machined and fabricated components against engineering drawings and specifications
Using a range of measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance
Carrying out first-off, in-process, and final inspection checks
Recording and reporting non-conformance issues accurately
Supporting root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities
Maintaining clear and accurate quality documentation
Working closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standardsWhat They’re Looking For The business is keen to speak with candidates who have experience working as a Quality Inspector within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
You’ll ideally have:
Proven experience in a Quality Inspector role
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
Confidence using measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers, and gauges
High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Good communication and organisational skills
A reliable and proactive approachThe following would also be beneficial:
Experience using CMM equipment
Background within precision engineering or machining environments
Knowledge of ISO quality systemsWhat’s on Offer
