Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dimensional Inspector to perform both dimensional and visual inspection activities. The ideal candidate will have experience with manual measuring techniques and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Experience with CMM machines and Pro 3D/QCT software is highly advantageous but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of aerospace components.
* Utilize manual measuring tools such as verniers, micrometers, and DTI’s.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure component compliance.
* Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
* Communicate with production and engineering teams to address any discrepancies or issues.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the inspection process.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Proficiency in using manual measuring tools (verniers, micrometers, DTI’s).
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
* Basic computer literacy for documentation and reporting purposes.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
* Familiarity with Pro 3D/QCT software.
* Previous experience in the aerospace manufacturing industry.
