Quality Inspector | Aerospace Manufacturing | Nottingham | £40,000 - £50,000

W Talent is working exclusively with an established aerospace manufacturing business in Nottingham to recruit a Quality Inspector to join its highly skilled engineering and manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist aerospace environment where quality, precision and attention to detail are critical, working on products manufactured to exacting customer and industry standards.

The Role - Quality Inspector

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring components meet the required engineering specifications, customer requirements and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. You will carry out first-off, in-process and final inspections, working closely with Production and Engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues and maintain a strong right-first-time approach. The position operates on a 3 on, 3 off shift pattern covering both days and nights.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspections.
Inspect components against engineering drawings, specifications and customer requirements.
Identify, record and report non-conformances, supporting corrective actions where required.
Use a range of precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, verniers and gauges.
Accurately record inspection results and maintain quality documentation.
Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
Support continuous improvement and promote a right-first-time culture.
Ensure all inspection activities are completed in line with company procedures and quality standards.Key Requirements

Previous experience in a Quality Inspection role within a manufacturing, engineering or aerospace environment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Experience using precision measuring equipment.
Strong attention to detail with a methodical and accurate approach.
Good understanding of quality processes and non-conformance management.
Comfortable working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.Salary and Benefits
