£27,000 - £34,000 +Full-time + Training + Progression

Do you have a background as a Quality Inspector or similar within a manufacturing or engineering environment or similar, looking to join a company where you can develop and progress your career through training, and boost your income with over time?
On offer is the opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business based in Nottingham. The company is looking for a hands-on and detail-focused Quality Inspector to ensure fabricated and manufactured components meet customer drawings, specifications and required quality standards.
This is a practical shop-floor role where you will carry out first-off, in-process and final inspections, using a range of measuring equipment to check components against engineering drawings and tolerances. You will also play an important role in preparing completed jobs for despatch, ensuring quantities, paperwork and quality documentation are correct before goods leave site.
This role would suit someone with a background in Quality Inspection or similar in a manufacturing or engineering environment, or similar looking to join a growing company where you can develop skills and progress within the company whilst also boosting your income with over time.
The Role:
Carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspections of manufactured and fabricated components
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, tolerances and customer specifications
Using verniers, micrometres, height gauges and other inspection equipment
Identifying and reporting non-conforming products
Completing inspection and quality documentation accurately
Full-time, starting on a 10am - 6pm shift pattern (40hr week)The Person:
