Are you an experienced Quality Inspector looking for a stable Monday to Friday role with a growing electronics manufacturer in Waterlooville, Hampshire?
We're recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a quality-focused manufacturing team where you'll be inspecting high-reliability electronic assemblies in a clean, modern production environment. The Role
As a Quality Inspector, you'll play a key role in ensuring electronic components, PCB assemblies & finished products meet customer specifications and the highest quality standards.
You'll be responsible for:
Carrying out visual & functional inspections of electronic assemblies, PCBAs & finished products
Performing first-off, in-process & final inspections
Identifying defects including soldering faults, component placement errors & wiring discrepancies
Reading engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs & work instructions
Using inspection microscopes, vernier callipers & electronic test equipment
Recording inspection results & maintaining accurate quality documentation
Raising non-conformance reports (NCRs) where required
Supporting root cause investigations & corrective actions
Working closely with Production, Engineering & Quality teams
Maintaining high housekeeping & health & safety standards
What we're looking for
To be successful in this Quality Inspector role in Waterlooville, Hampshire, you'll ideally have:
Previous experience in electronics manufacturing or quality inspection
Experience inspecting PCB assemblies & electronic components
Ability to read engineering drawings & schematics
Strong attention to detail & a methodical approach
Experience using microscopes, measuring equipment & electronic test equipment
IPC-A-610 certification (advantageous)
Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems (desirable)
