Are you an experienced Quality Inspector with a background in manufacturing and AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports? We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join a growing team in Thame, supporting a busy quality department during an exciting facility transition project.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring products meet the highest quality standards while supporting customer requirements and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities of Quality Inspector 

Complete AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) for internally manufactured products.
Review and verify AS9102 FAIRs submitted by suppliers.
Carry out dimensional and visual inspections on components and assemblies.
Maintain daily inspection records and quality reports.
Support the identification, investigation, and control of non-conforming products.
Ensure inspection activities are completed in line with customer and production deadlines.
Work closely with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to resolve quality-related issues.
Provide general support to the Quality team as required. 

The Quality Inspector should have the following skills and experience 

Previous experience completing AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports.
Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Confident using inspection equipment such as verniers, calipers, gauges, and measuring tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Positive team player with a proactive and flexible approach.
Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
