Quality Improvement Engineer
Cardiff
Salary up to £62,000 + 10% Bonus + Excellent Benefits
A leading manufacturer is seeking a Quality Improvement Engineer to support continuous improvement activities within a highly regulated production environment.
The Role
Drive quality improvement projects to reduce defects and improve process performance.
Investigate quality issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Analyse quality data and trends to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve quality standards and operational performance.
Support initiatives aimed at reducing Cost of Quality and improving process robustness.
About You
Degree qualified in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
Experience within a regulated manufacturing environment such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences.
Strong problem-solving skills with knowledge of RCA, 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, or similar methodologies.
Confident working with stakeholders across multiple departments to deliver change.
