Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

About the Role:

As our QHSE Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the excellence of our products and processes. You will be responsible for the following key areas:

Quality Management System Maintenance: Ensure the upkeep of our Quality Management System and maintain our ISO 9001 accreditation.
IMS Development and Implementation: Lead the Company in achieving ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 accreditation through the development and implementation of an Integrated Management System.
Product Inspection Oversight: Manage our Inspection Department and conduct spot-checks across the organization to uphold our world-leading reputation for quality.
Non-Conformity Investigation: Investigate causes of non-conformities and collaborate with production leaders to find effective solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement of our products and processes to meet the highest standards for our customers.
Internal and External Audits: Oversee internal audits on the application of the IMS and lead any external audits.
Supplier Quality Audits: Audit materials provided by suppliers to assure quality before incorporation into our product.
Performance Reporting: Report to Directors on the performance of the Quality Management Systems and provide pragmatic recommendations for improvement.
Employee Training: Train new QHSE employees and ensure delivery of necessary Health & Safety training for all staff.
HSE Advice and Compliance: Advise on matters related to the Environment and Health & Safety at work, ensuring adherence to guidelines and legal obligations.
Risk Assessments: Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks to ensure safety.
Equipment Management: Oversee the servicing schedules of all key equipment.
Department Development: Assist in the continued development of the QHSE department.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a QHSE role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
ISO 9001 accreditation.
A minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to conduct thorough audits and spot-checks.
Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to recommendations.
