Quality Engineer

Location: Washington

Salary: £38,000- £42,000 depending on experience/qualifications

Start date: ASAP

Shift/Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Day Shift

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer to join an established company on a permanent basis.

The job will include:

* Lead continuous improvement activities for plant.

* Lead analysis and problem-solving activities (8D, 6-Sigma, etc.)

* Support site development and sustainment of QMS

* Establish and maintain customer and internal quality standards.

* Support warranty process

* Liaison with external parties as required.

* Provide regular feedback through daily, weekly, and monthly reviews.

What you will bring to the team:

* 7W / lean improvement experience

* Understanding of measurement methods / methodology

* Experience of build standard creation and the implementation/improvement of quality control systems

* Previous experience of leading and coaching teams
