Quality Engineer
Trowbridge
£45,000 + up to 10% bonus
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineer to join an excellent bespoke manufacturer in the Trowbridge area.
With no day ever being the same the Quality Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class manufacturing environment.
Commutable from Melksham, Trowbridge, Chippenham, Bradford-on-Avon, Devizes, Bath, Corsham, Calne, Warminster, Westbury, Frome
Role & Responsibilities:
Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) and Kaizen initiatives.
Audit and improve manufacturing processes and quality controls.
Lead root cause investigations using 5 Whys and 8D methodologies.
Reduce quality and production risks through FMEA and Control Plans.
Monitor KPIs and implement actions to improve performance.
Manage customer quality issues, CAPA activities, and support NPI/APQP projects.Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
2-3+ years' experience in Quality Engineering or Manufacturing.
Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, CI, and Kaizen.
Strong problem-solving skills using structured methodologies.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and change control.
Six Sigma and/or Statistical Process Control (SPC) experience.
Electronics manufacturing experience or IPC-A-610/IPC-A-620 knowledge desirable.Package and Benefits:
