Role: Quality Engineer
Location: Dundee
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Benefits
Are you a Quality Engineer looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience in manufacturing / machining? If this sounds like you then read on, this could be your perfect role.
The responsibilities of the Quality Engineer are as follows:
Internal auditing
Investigation of Non conformances
Identify and address root cause providing corrective action and preventative solutions.
Create First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)
Manage Calibration of all Precision Measuring Equipment
Inspection of components using measuring tools and CMM
The successful Quality Engineer will have the following skills/experience:
Experience of working withing an engineering / machining / manufacturing environment
Able to use measurement tools (micrometers, gauges, calipers, etc.)
Experience of CMM inspection is beneficial although not essential
Knowledge of ISO9001 is desirable
Experience of using root cause analysis tools
Familiarity with PPAP / APQP / FAIR / Control Plans is advantageous
